Our Story
We bake small-batch desserts and naturally leavened sourdough, one sweet order at a time.
Little Estrella Bakes is a home bakery in La Mesa, California built on scratch baking and a lot of heart. What started as treats for family birthdays grew into custom cake pops, cake popsicles, decorated sugar cookies, flavored cookies, cupcakes, brownies, mini cakes, and sourdough bread for celebrations all over San Diego County. Every order is mixed, baked, decorated, and boxed by hand, then made to shine for your day.

“Baking is how I show love. Every treat that leaves my kitchen is made the way I would make it for my own family.”
I am Adriana Estrella, a Virginia native now baking in La Mesa, California, a culinary school graduate, military spouse, and mom of two. Little Estrella Bakes grew out of late nights in my kitchen making treats for the people I love, and it is still exactly that, only now I get to do it for your celebrations too.

Bring us to your event
Markets, school fundraisers, church events, and company parties. Tell us the date and the crowd size and we will put together a treat table that shines.
Add what you love to your cart and check out online, or send us an order request with your date, item, and quantity. We will confirm the details and your pickup time by email.
Please give us at least one week for custom treats. Larger orders and wedding or event tables are best booked three to four weeks out.
Cake pops, cake popsicles, and cookies are priced per piece with no minimum. Cupcakes and brownies are sold by the dozen, and mini cakes and breads can be ordered individually.
Yes. Send your colors, invitation, or an inspiration photo and we will match the coating, icing, sprinkles, and toppers to your theme.
We do. Cake pop towers, cookie favors, and mini cake displays are some of our favorites. Reach out with your date and guest count.
We keep one flavor per dozen so everything bakes and sets evenly, but you are welcome to order several dozen in different flavors.
Orders are picked up locally in La Mesa, California, with delivery available around San Diego County on request. We will confirm the exact address and a pickup window once your order is booked.
Local delivery is available for larger orders for an added fee, depending on the distance. Just ask when you place your order.
Our treats are made fresh without preservatives, so we do not ship at this time. Everything is made for local pickup or delivery.
Cake pops and cookies keep well at room temperature in a sealed container for several days. Cupcakes and mini cakes are best the day of. Sourdough keeps three to four days in a paper bag or bread box.
Yes. Every batter, dough, icing, and sourdough starter is made from scratch in small batches, never from a mix.
Our kitchen works with wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free product. Tell us about any allergies and we will be honest about what we can do safely.
